Today we'll be examining the question -What is ICT and How is it Important to Education. As well as examine the potential to use both Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
If you do not yet have a gmail address, please use the opening minutes of class to register for one. Please ask either of the instructors for assistance if you require it. Having a Gmail account will be important as it allows you to get the most out of the seminar and will allow you to gain access to a multitude of great free programs offered from Google.

Afterwards a demonstration of Microsoft Word will be given. The demo will highlight several of the potential features that are essential to successfully implement it into your classroom. At the conclusion of the demo, time will be given to practice formatting and using MS Word.
Time permitting, we'll move forward to Google Docs. An overview and demonstration of its features will be shown and time will be given to collaboratively work on a formatting assignment.
