2015 Day 6

We have reached the homestretch together. I am amazed at the high level products that you are creating together. A we look at the last few days of class, we'll begin taking about the requirements for passing the class and the last few major programs that we can use in class.

As our last piece of theory, we'll examine the Eight Corresponding Curricula and consider it when we begin using Google Docs later today. The article that discusses the continua is located in the research tab at the top or you can find it by visiting: http://www.learningandleading-digital.com/learning_leading/20090910/#pg24.

In class we will review how to create shortened URLs with Bitly and Goo.gl (goo.gl/QNKhN2). I will run through a quick tutorial of using Blogger for the students that are interested in using the program in place of Sites. Finally, we will look at using Google Earth and maps in place of more traditional maps. Continuing the work of the last few days, time will also be given to students to work collaboratively to create pieces that they can use in their classrooms in September.

The criteria for a complete pass of the course are available at docs.google.com/presentation/d/1UgBDQVyUYgi6-Q_AwaGNZddGrRSl-rTknsX2vMMMO_4/edit?usp=sharing
